So imagine my shock listening to the mp3 everything seems fine until i get to tunnel of love and it is not the alchemy original recording but some inferior bootleg version with the crowd noise up front. Dire straits live peaked at 46 on the us charts but would go gold and still best live document of the band unless a live recording from the brothers in arms tour is released. I loved the original lp and wanted a digital version in particular tunnel of love which is just an amazing live recording. The alchemy live double album was a revelation for both fans and casual listeners.

Many live albums work as best of compilations and this one does the same but only as far as the choice of tracks.
